Marieanne Goger Nohl

Marieanne Nohl 87, of Indianapolis departed this life on May 11, 2013. She was born on September 28, 1925 in Indianapolis to William J. and Ann (Gavin) Goger. Marieanne was the widow of Thomas E. Nohl, to whom she was married for 57 years until his death in 2009. She was an active member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church and an office volunteer for almost 40 years. She was a former member of St. Philip Neri and Little Flower Catholic Church. She was a graduate of St. Agnes Academy, Class of 1943, attended Indiana University and was employed at State Auto Insurance for 10 years. . She is survived by her children, Thomas A. (Linda) Nohl, Anne T. (Jim) Traub, John P. Nohl, Vincent J. (Mary) Nohl, Marie N. (Frank) Comer of Kentwood, MI, James T. Nohl, Timothy M. Nohl, Paul X. (Kelly) Nohl and Jane M. (Scott) Elliott; and sister, Helen C. Andrews; 14 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and numerous special nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12 noon, Friday May 17, 2013 at Holy Spirit Catholic Church. Visitation will begin at the Church at 10 a.m. and conclude at the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, donations are suggested to Holy Spirit Catholic Church or to Cathedral High School. Services entrusted to Feeney-Hornak Shadeland Mortuary.
