Marjorie Helen Ahlgrim

Marjorie Helen Ahlgrim, age 91, of Greenwood, Indiana formerly of Hobart, Indiana passed away on Tuesday, October 18, 2022. Marjorie was born in Bayside, New York to the late Robert and Doris (Moore) McCrindle. She is preceded in passing by her husband, George Ahlgrim, and by her brother Don McCrindle. Marjorie met her husband at Baptist Bible Seminary in Johnson City, New York. Together they would raise their family in Gary, Indiana where they attended Glen Park Baptist Church. More recently she was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Greenwood, Indiana where she taught Sunday School. In her younger years she worked in banking and as a transcriptionist at South Lake Center for Mental Health in Merrillville, Indiana. Marjorie's passion was always her family. She was deeply devoted to them, including distant relatives in Newfoundland. She was delighted any time there was a new addition to the family. She adored her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Marjorie is survived by her brother Bob (Eve) McCrindle, her children, Richard Ahlgrim (Rebecca), Tom Ahlgrim, and Judy Scott (Thomas); grandchildren, Nansie, Sarah, Ryan, Brianna, and Blake; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Visitation for Marjorie will be held Monday, October 24, 2022 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Little & Sons Funeral Home, 4901 E Stop Eleven Road, Indianapolis, Indiana 46237, followed by a Funeral Service at 11:00 AM.

Marjorie will be laid to rest privately in Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens, Crown Point, Indiana.
