He was an Army Air Corp Veteran of both WW II and Korea. He retired from PTC and had worked at Westinghouse Airbrake as a Journeyman Machinist. He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Georgette (Danz) Bowman and a son Eric Bowman and daughter Toni Wilson.
Marvin is survived by his children, Marva Bowman, Marvin Bowman, II and Judson Bowman; many loving grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, December 6, 2022 at West Ridge Park Cemetery with military rites. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Family Funeral Care, 5791 Rockville Road, Indianapolis, Indiana 46224
