Mary Ann was one of my mom's closest friends back in the 50's before they both married. They took several trips together including one up to New York City. My mom passed away suddenly at age 44 in 1978. Several years ago, my 3 sisters and I enjoyed lunch together with her, her daughter Mary Pat and her grandson Carson. After lunch we went back to her apartment building and visited some more. We all reminisced and my sisters and I loved her stories about our mom. She was a sweet and kind woman who was full of life. My sisters and I had just talked about her at Thanksgiving and talked about a follow-up lunch after "COVID-19". RIP Mary Ann. Thank you for being such a great friend to our mom and providing us with loving insight into her early years.

One of my first memories of Mary Ann was at my bridal shower. She gave me a bag full of kitchen gadgets. She asked me to pull each one out and identify them. I think the only one I knew for certain was the spatula! She laughed and promised to teach me how to use each one! I am grateful that I was able to spend Thanksgiving 2019 with her at my daughter Teresa’s home. It was a privilege to break bread together and count our many blessings of family. Love and peace Mary Ann. Love and peace to the entire Boone family. She will be greatly missed.

Mary Ann was a wonderful friend to me during our years living at Wyndham Hall in Indianapolis, and her family welcomed me with open arms during holiday get-togethers. I shall always miss our spirited comments that we would share and direct at certain NASCAR drivers during a race, or against any opposing team playing our Chicago Cubs. She was a treasure, and her memory will remain in my heart always.
