Our prayers are with your family.  She was a wonderful person as well as a fantastic teacher. She will be greatly missed!

I am so very sorry about my very favorite
female cousin Pat's passing.  I received the news via email the morning I was leaving for Christmas holiday or I would have made an effort to come to her funeral.  I always looked up to Pat as if she were my "big sister." She was so much fun and as a little "kid" I thought she was amazing...later I grew to appreciate her fun loving spirit and great sense of humor. Linda, I think you know how much I have always adored your mom. What you probably don't know is how much I emulate her.  I find myself reacting to my boys as your mom used to react to us and I think of her often.  Oh, if I had a dime for every time your mom rolled her eyes at us when we were their ages, I would be rich!  However, her looks of exasperation were always given in a loving, fun, non-critical manner so unique to your mom that I always felt OK about the world and myself. I am so pleased you chose the photo you did for the obituary. That's face I remember so well; that's the face of a woman who left an indelible mark on me.

I offer my deepest condolences to the Faust Family.  Pat and my mother were great friends and did a lot of things togeter when they were active at St. Mathew.  Pat used to call me on my birthdays and sing happy birthday to me.  I am sure she is with the Lord.  My thoughts and prayers are with your family.
