82, of Indianapolis, departed this life December 20, 2010. She was born December 7, 1928 in Newburgh, IN to Jacob John and Rose Marie (Unfried) Herr. Mary worked for Smith-Bridenstine Optical in Indianapolis for 47 years, retiring in 2007. She was a member of White River Yacht Club and American Legion Post #34 where she had served both organizations as president of their Ladies Auxiliary. Mary is survived by her husband Terry Feeney; step-daughters, Debbie Walker, Teresa Massengale, Penny (Dale) Toon and Tracy (Dean) Riester; step-son, Terry Feeney, Jr.; her only surviving sibling, Rosaline (Bernard) Brockman; seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Family and friends are invited to a celebration of her life on Tuesday, December 28, 2010 at the White River Yacht Club, 1400 East 74th Street Indianapolis, IN 46240 from 5 to 7 PM with a brief service to begin at 5 PM.
