82, of Indianapolis departed this life April 21, 2017. She was born December 19, 1934 in Indianapolis to the late Edward and Eileen Rose McKenna Stich. She was a school teacher at St. Pius X Catholic School and Arsenal Tech High School. She also worked at Western Electric. Mary Jane was member of Christ the King Catholic Church and International Toastmistress Club. Mary Jane will be remembered for her great love for her family and her woodland creatures around her home. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 58 years, Joseph Patrick McConahay. She is survived by her children: Kevin McConahay, Maureen (James Hess) Johnson, Margaret McConahay and Sean (Kristy) McConahay and three grandchildren. Visitation will begin at 11:00 am on Thursday, April 27th at Christ the King Catholic Church followed by Mass of Christian Burial at noon. Entombment follows at Our Lady of Peace Cemetery. Services entrusted to Feeney-Hornak Keystone Mortuary. In lieu of flowers, contributions are suggested to Gleaners Food Bank.
