81 of Avon, passed away on November 17, 2015. She was born to John and Eva MacLean on October 5, 1934 in Walpole, Massachusetts. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Gordon Mitchell and her siblings, Wallace MacLean and Marilyn Belyeu. She will be missed by her children, John (Debbi) Ferguson, Julia (Craig) Helmer, Janice (Tom) Murphy and Joanna (David) McKamey; 8 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Mickey was loved by all for her loving heart and giving spirit. In addition to cooking and quilting, she was very active with the prison ministry, Cursillos, Psalm 91, ACLW and spending time with her family and "the lunch bunch". A memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, November 21, 2015 from 9:30am until the time of the Memorial service at 10:30am at the Plainfield Christian Church (800 Dan Jones Rd, Plainfield, IN 46168). Her final resting place will be at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Davie Florida. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you make a donation to the charity of your choice.
