Mary Jayne Seifert Love

Mary Jayne, 90, of Indianapolis, passed away on Saturday, December 8, 2018 at 12:40 am at Madison Health Care. She was born on September 4, 1928, the fourth of five children, to Zed Sr and Helen (Cochran) Day.

Mary Jayne was a homemaker early in her marriage. She then worked several years at Methodist Hospital as a Senior Unit Secretary. In her later years she was a nanny for several different families.

She is survived by her husband Robert Love, Brother James (Bev) Day, Daughters Carol (James) Reum, Suzanne ( Rodney) Walters, Mary (Gerry) Dunbar, and Sons Michael Seifert, Steve (Rosey) Seifert. Grandchildren Tina (Michael) Jackson, David (Anna) Dougherty, Brian (Stephanie) Dougherty, Amy (Tony) Church, Angie (Adrian) Payne, Andy (Mary) Walters, Stephanie( Randy) Bledsoe, Christy (Robert Gatto Jr) Rogers , Zachary Brkljacic, Nathan Brkljacic. Twenty five plus Great grandchildren, and two great, great granddaughters.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her Brother Zed Day Jr, Sisters Barbara Rochford, Patricia Day. granddaughter Michelle Dougherty.

Visitation will be held from 11am to 1 pm on Wednesday, December 12, 2018 at the Gothic Chapel located in Crown Hill Cemetery, followed by service at 1 pm. Food will be provided after graveside service at 2 pm.

Memorial contributions may be made to Riley Children's Hospital or the Alzheimer's Association in lieu of flowers.
