Mary A. Walters, 84 of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away on May 29, 2011, at home surrounded by family. She was born December 22, 1926 in Uniontown, Alabama to the late John and Mamie Smith. Preceding her in death was her husband, Howard L. Walters, four brothers, and one sister. She is survived by her three daughters, Mamie MCarley, Janice Walters, and Florence Rogers (Lonnell); one stepdaughter, Barbara Walters; ten grandchildren, Bryant Walters (Christina), Korie Walters, Marlo Wade, Courtney Brown, Kenan Williams, Shannon Walters, Ashley Jones, Kirbie Rogers, Adam McCarley, and Jerry Rogers; and eleven great grandchildren . Mary also leaves behind five sisters, and one brother, and a host of family and friends.
Services will be held on Friday, June 3rd, 2011, 1 P.M. at Tabernacle Missionary Baptist Church. Visitation will be on Friday from 11 A.M. Burial in Crown Hill Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Williams & Bluitt Funeral Home.
