We have just finished watching the video and I cried all the way through it. It was beautiful.
You know that we love all of you and are so saddened by all the grief you are enduring. His life was
shortened and it is hard to understand why these things happen. Only our Lord and Savior knows and
we must keep our trust in Him.

We have fond memories of him here when he was a little boy and of our trips that we made up there
to see all of you.

All of your family are in our thoughts and prayers. We love you.

Biography

Father Steve,

Michael was a great son, brother, uncle & nephew. We all loved him so much. From the time Mike was a little boy, everyone loved his laugh & that continued throughout his life. Mike cared about nature and loved animals. Even when he fished, he made sure to gently remove the hook and laid the fish back in the water. He was always a kind soul. God gifted Mike with a talent to play the guitar. He never took a lesson but could he ever play. Mike could play any music he wanted to play. When Mike was 8 years old and his cousins were born, he gave them his undivided attention and played with them for hours. Then when Alex and Audrey came along, Mike took being a uncle to a new level. They would be laughing and having such a great time.
Mike’s brothers: Mike always looked up to his big brother Joe and thought he knew the answer to everything….which most of the time he did. With his younger brother Jimmy, Mike was his big brother that was suppose to protect him.

I can say it was a rare event for my boys to fight among themselves which is a rarity with 3 brothers. It must be the love they shared together. They were best friends and have stayed close through adulthood. Mike has had a group of friends since middle & high school. He has also met new friend throughout his adulthood. Several of these friends have called to tell us how Mike helped them through their darkest hours & they wouldn’t be here if it wasn’t for Mike; one of his many purposes here on earth.

Mike worked for Brightview landscaping company & his boss told us last week how Mike was the only one the non-English employees liked to work with. Mike learned Spanish on the job and they would laugh and joke around all day.

Then 14 months ago Mike met his soulmate Angi. She told me she had never met a man that was so kind & loving towards her and willing to help others.

That was Mike and we all love him beyond words.
