Michael "Mike" Arthur Edwards

Michael "Mike" Arthur Edwards, 55, of Indianapolis, passed away on Tuesday, September 22, 2020. He was born on July 7, 1965 in Indianapolis to Arthur W. and Donna (Lee) Edwards. He graduated from Lawrence North High School.

Mike loved sports of all kinds. He was a lifelong Cincinnati Reds fan and closely followed the Indianapolis Colts and Indiana Pacers. He was an avid reader and knowledgeable music lover.

He cared deeply for each of his two rescue dogs, Gator and then Davey. Wife, Cathy, and son, Ken, were the joys of his life. They had great fun attending sporting events, exploring parks, and living a simple life of loving one another. Mike was a kind and gentle soul.

He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Mike is survived by his loving wife, Catherine Henderson; son, Kenneth Arthur Edwards; father, Arthur W. Edwards; sister, Jennifer (Tom) Lipinski; niece, Victoria Lipinski; nephew, Jason Lipinski; and aunt, Janice Lou Lee. Mike was preceded in death by his mother, Donna Edwards.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Luke's United Methodist Church, 100 W. 86th St, Indianapolis, IN 46260.
