

Michael (Moon, Ra-Cha, Cha-lay, Rollo) Lee Moore, well known to everyone in Indianapolis as “Big Mike.” Michael was born January 31, 1960 In Lebanon Tennessee. He departed his earthly life on December 11, 2013 at Community East Hospital after an extended illness.
He received his Elementary, High School and College Education in Lebanon, TN. Michael’s passion for sports led him to play baseball at Cumberland College he was a left hand batter. Anyone who knew or came in contact with Michael knew he was a Chicago Bears, New York Yankee fan for life win or lose.
Michael later moved to Indianapolis, where he worked various jobs never too proud to work any job to make an honest living. He later obtained employment at Eastern Star Church where he was employed until the Lord called him home. Michael was a very kind hearted, considerate, manerable, compassionate man, who never met a stranger with that contagious smile Michael was loved by many. Michael’s faith, trust, and belief in God led him to become a member at Eastern Star where his walk and love for Christ was shown daily. His presence, big smile and kindness will be deeply missed by all.
Michael is preceded in death by father John Reynolds, step father William Davis, Jr., Grandmother Hazel Word, Brother Terrell Davis, and Sister Cathy Davis.
Michael leaves to cherish his memory, Mother Hazel Davis, Fiancée Vivian Parchman; Three children: Jashinickay Moore, Lakesha Cannon, March Ratney; Four grandchildren: Jakia Ratney, Journie Ratney, Aniyah Dixon, Anita Scott.Sisters: Annette (Randy) Stafford, Sharnethia (Greg) Younger, Stacy Odom, Hannah Thompson, Twaiana Davis, Marion (Trevis) Wells; Brothers: Frank Corder, Kenneth Jackson, Timothy (Bonnie)Bankhead, William (Chante)Davis, Kendall Maurice Davis; aunts: Betty(James) Crutchfield, Annie(Michael)Seay, Mary Helen Kirkendoll, Nellie Major, Mattie Moore, Henrietta Blair and Annie Moore; Uncle Roy Dale (Mary) Moore and host of beloved nieces, nephews, cousins and many, many devoted loving friends.
Friends and relatives may call on Friday, December 20, 2013, 9:30am - 11am, with the Homegoing Celebration at 11am at Eastern Star Church, main campus. The burial will immediately follow at New Crown Cemetery.
