Miriam Frances Palmer

Miriam DuGranrut Palmer, 95, passed away on May 19, 2022, at Hoosier Village in Zionsville. Miriam was born in Indianapolis, Indiana, to Russell and Julia DuGranrut on September 2, 1926. Miriam graduated from Broad Ripple High School and earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from Western College for Women, now a part of Miami of Ohio University. She married Joseph Palmer on September 5, 1948. Miriam is preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Palmer and her son, John Robert Palmer. Miriam is survived by Sue Sears and her husband Craig Sears and grandchildren Jonathan Sears, Julia Garnett, and Stephanie Sears; and great grandchildren, Charles Sears and Eloise and Audrey Garnett. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:30, Tuesday, May 24 in the Chapel at Hoosier Village, 5385 Soapberry Drive, Indianapolis, Indiana, 46268, with Mr. David Bourne, from New Hope Christian Church will be presiding.
