His father, Tom Jenkins, mother, Louvenia Ponder and wife preceded him in death.
He leaves to cherish his memory, sons, Moses Jenkins Jr. (Genenell), Aaron Jenkens (Theresa), Joel C. Jenkins (Sheila), Darius W. Jenkins (Glendora), daughters, Gloria A. Grundy (Gerald), Brenda Nichols, Connie D. Powell ( George), Jeanette Hudson, LaVerne Hawkins, 23 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren and a host of extended family and friends.
His visitation will take place on Friday, November 21, 2014, 4pm- 8pm, with the Homegoing Celebration Commencing on Saturday, November 22, 2014 at 12pm at Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church. His burial will take place in Floral Park Cemetery.
