He was born in Hong Kong on March 31, 1948. Following his high school graduation, he went to study for a year in Glasgow, Scotland before coming to the United States. He attended Indiana State University at Terre Haute, Indiana and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1971. In 2010, he obtained a Master of Science degree in Management from Indiana Wesleyan University.
Moses worked for a number of years in the financial sector before joining FedEx, and retired from the company at 66. With training as an EMT and a certified instructor in life support, he then started a school, CPR Indy, that offers training to the public as well as healthcare professionals. He also managed his own investment properties. Outside his regular employment, Moses had also served as a volunteer EMT based at a fire station. His passion in skiing led him to become a member of the National Ski Patrol.
He was married to Karen Pollock and later divorced. They have a son, Michael, of whom Moses was most proud of. Beyond that, his wide circle of friends and relatives are his source of joy, support and comfort. He is survived by son Michael, brothers Benny, David and Peter; sisters Esther and Ruth, many nieces and nephews, Rudy, and other relatives in Canada and overseas. Beyond that, Moses loved all children as if they were his own and all children loved their "Uncle Mo".
Moses' life can be summed up in one brief paragragh, "He lived the way he wanted, and left in the same manner. In between, he made a huge number of friends, helped many people, and left a warm memory in all that had come to know him."
