The only son of Will and Cora Arrington, Willie was self-employed for over 15 years at A-1 Mobil Service Station, located on the corner of 30th and Keystone Avenue. His business was a neighborhood icon. Respected and loved by the community, Willie was a member of Greater St. Mark Missionary Baptist Church. Willie served as a medical technician in the U.S. Army for three years during WW II.
Willie was preceded in death, by his loving wife, Geneva. He is survived by six beautiful daughters, Cheryl W. Fields, Linda L. Thompson, Sandra K. Roney, Denise A. Hazelwood, Debra A. Arrington, Terri L. Finkton (Keith), 8 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and a host of other family members and friends. Willie and Geneva Arrington will be forever missed.
