
Leonid Boschenko at age 96 passed into the arms of our Lord on April 13, 2015 in St. Petersburg, Florida. He was born in Russia and after serving in World War II. He was able to bring his family to America and made Indianapolis their home.
He leaves behind his son Anatoli of Indianapolis, grandson Brian and wife Lauren of Orlando, Florida; granddaughter Katrina of Austin, Texas.
His daughter Rita Baker of Martinsburg, West Virginia, granddaughter Karen Rennich and husband Mike; great grandchildren Nathan, Alex and Samuel of Elkridge, Maryland; Granddaughter Catherine Baker and husband Time Keht of Chicago, Illinois. His brother Alex and wife Valaria Bashenow of Indianapolis.
After Retiring from Am Track Facility in Beech Grove as an Machinist and member of International Association of Machinist and Aerospace worker Lodge No 511. He turned to enjoying his family and his love as an artist and playing the Accordion and Guitar. His pride was that all his children and grandchildren graduated from college with professional vocation.
During his retirement years He vacationed in Florida for the winters, spending time with his friends in Gulfport, Florida.
We will miss his time he spent with us his music and his stories about life in the old country and World War II.
