Mr. Shirl David Clements

Shirl D. Clements, 77, of Speedway, IN (formally reside in Huntington IN) passed away on October 3, 2010. Shirl proudly served his country in the United States Navy during the Korean War. Among many interest, Shirl was also a member of the VFW #2689 Huntington. He retired from Wayne Metal Products after 26 years. He preceded in death by his parents, Shirl and Thelma Clements, his brother Jack and two sisters, Doris Thrift and Eva Mae Clements. Shirl will be sadly missed by his loving wife of 56 years, Esther Clements and his daughters, Debra (Scott) Wilcox, Tonya (Andrew) Burroughs, Tracey (Edmund) Wiley; five grandchildren, Amanda (Kendell) Hoyle, Grayson Burroughs, Skylar Wilcox, Christopher Wilcox and Parker Wilcox; one great grandchild Kendall Burroughs; one step-great granchild, Cameron Hoyle.

Mr. Clements Service will be Thursday October 7, 2010 at noon, with a two hour calling prior located at Crown Hill Gothic Chapel (700 West 38th St. Indianapolis IN 46208). In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the VA Medical Center; Attention to the Volunteer Services Department (1481 West 10th St. 2nd Floor Indianapolis IN 46202) in memory of Shirl D. Clements.
