Gene Louis Ford, Sr. was born on June 28, 1933 in Indianapolis, Indiana. Gene peacefully departed this life on Monday, May 26, 2014 at the age of 80. He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers and two sisters. He is survived by his wife of more than 60 years, Margie; sons, Gene Louis Ford, Jr. (Lynna) and Anthony Wayne Ford (Terri Logan Ford, DDS); grandchildren, Gene Henry Ford (Mawusi Afiya Ford), Jarrett Anthony Ford, Kara Angelle Ford and Clayton Wayne Ford; great-grandchildren, Anaya Jenae Ford and Morgan Ashé Ford; sister, Elizabeth Hall (James Hall); sisters-in-law, Ada Dorothy Miller and Ola Mae Neal; and a host of nieces and nephews.
