87, passed away on July 8, 2012. He was born in Jenkinjones, WV on July 16, 1924. Mr. Freeman proudly served in the U.S. Navy during WWII. He retired from The United Insurance Company after 40 years of employment.
He was preceded in death by parents, Donald and Ila Freeman; daughter, Sarah Freeman; son, Ron Freeman, and brother, Kenneth Freeman.
He is survived by his wife, Marie Freeman, and children, Sandy (Jim) Sickle, Donnie (Mary) Freeman, Jane Freeman, Jan (Henry) Bussey, and Nancy (Jim) Curry; 10 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren, and sister, Linda Gore.
The family wishes to thank Hooverwood Nursing Home for the amazing care that was given to him during his lengthy stay at the facility.
