James "Jim" Henderson was born on October 21st, 1937 in Metropolis, Illinois and passed away on October 20th, 2016. He lived most of his life in Indiana and raised his family there. He was a truck driver for Kroger from 1965 and retired from Kroger in 2002 after 37 years with the company. During his years at Kroger, he was the 1976 state truck rodeo champion and also a master truck driver. His hobbies included golf and horse racing. He was a loving husband and father, and was most proud of his two children, Carrie and Jimmy. He was preceded in death by his parents, Leland and Carrie, sister Karolyn, and brothers Lon and Bill. He is survived by his wife, Janet, his daughter Carrie (Ben), his son, Jimmy (Kim) and his sister, Kathy Stanchik. He will be missed by all who knew him and loved him.
