93, of Indianapolis, passed away Sunday, January 23, 2011. Bill was a former Controller of Stark & Wetzel until their merger with Rath Packing in 1974. He then worked for Merchandise Warehouse Company, retiring in 1986. Bill was also a member of the Indianapolis Hiking Club since 1964 and served as President in 1968 and 1969. He received the title of Sagamore of the Wabash, bestowed by former Governor Frank O'Bannon, at the club's 40th anniversary celebration for his dedication and service and a trail was also named for Bill at the Gnaw Bone Camp in Nashville, IN. He was a WWII veteran of the US Army, serving from 1942-1946 and a 50-year member of Grand Lodge Free & Accepted Masons, Scottish Rite and Sahara Grotto.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Nellie K. Larrison of Indianapolis, sister-in-law, Chris of Phoenix, AZ, nephews, Greg of Davenport, IA and Rany of McLean, IL.
