The son of Boynton John Moore and Milda Hougham Moore, Boynton, "Bud" to many who knew him, was a lifelong resident of Indianapolis. He graduated from Shortridge High School in 1935 and attended Indiana University and Butler University.
His wife, Marion Leonard Moore, preceded him in death. He is survived by his children: Suzanne Moore, Judith Aikman (Randall), and Patricia Moore, his grandchildren: Jerod ( Emma) Aikman, Jason Aikman, and Abigail ( Michael) Tomasone; and great grandchildren: Ariana and Iyla Aikman. His memory will live in our hearts forever.
He was a proud Veteran of World War ll serving in the European Theater 1942-1945. He was a Master Staff Sergeant in the US Army and a member of the Army Reserves until 1964. After the war, he worked for the Quaker Oats Company until his retirement in 1981.
