Mr. Ray James Allensworth, 79, Indianapolis, transitioned from labor to reward on May 10, 2016.He was baptized and was a member of McFarland Baptist Church in Evansville, Indiana. He was also a faithful member of The Rock Missionary Baptist Church in Indianapolis. Mr. Allensworth was a Veteran of the United States Air Force.He was preceded in death by his parents, James L. Allensworth and Eliza Price Allensworth; siblings: Viola Bushrod, Josephine Johnson, Tama Cook, Julia Hampton, Ruby Hewlett, Lawrence Allensworth and Joseph Allensworth.Ray James Allensworth leaves to cherish his memory and celebrate his life, one sister, Irma Williams of Evansville, Indiana and a host of nieces, nephews and other family and friends. The visitation is Monday, May 16, 2016, 9am - 10:30am with the Homegoing Celebration commencing promptly at 10:30am in The Rock Missionary Baptist Church. The interment will immediately follow in Marion National Cemetery.
