Mr. Robert James Sledge, 47, originally from Indianapolis, passed away on May 26, 2017 in Merrillville, Indiana.Robert leaves to cherish his memory and celebrate his life, children: Jamantha Sledge, Larry Hickman, Khamil Sledge, Maxium Sledge, Sarah Sledge, Tamara Kendrick, Trisha Kendrick, Rehn Sledge and Lessieuna Sledge; siblings: Charlie Harris, James Harris, Willie Harris, Kenneth Harris, Winfred Harris, Howard Harris, Jr., Dejuan Sledge, Linda Harris and Stacy Sledge; 2 grandchildren anda host of extended family and friends. The visitation is Friday, June 9, 2017, 10am - 11am, with the service at 11am in Williams & Bluitt Funeral Home, Peoples Chapel. The interment will immediately follow in New Crown Cemetery.
