Julian "Scott" Sandberg, 54 passed away April 5, 2010 of lung cancer. A lifelong Indianapolis resident, he was the son of O. W. and Agnes S. Sandberg. Scott was an avid fisherman and animal lover. He was employed by Tri-County Asphalt for many years. Previously he owned and managed a striping business. He is survived by his siblings Julia, Catherine (William) Sibley, Dan (Carol) and Michael (Theresa) Sandberg. Also surviving are nieces and nephews Nicholas, Candice, Daniel, Megan and Claire. The Family wishes to acknowledge the compassionate care provided by the Wishard Health staff, especially the Palliative Care Team. Private family services will be Friday at the Peace Chapel of Crown Hill Funeral Home and Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Indianapolis or Wishard Hospital.
