Homar Martin Van Buren 72 Indianapolis passed away February 24, 2010. Homar was born in Canton, Mississippi on October 26, 1937, the son of the late Isaiah and Ida (Simms) Van Buren. He was a truck driver at Allison Division GM Indianapolis, IN., for 31 years retired 1992. He was the widower of Loretta (Benson) Van Buren. Homar is survived by a brother Essig Billy Van Buren and a stepson Ricki Benson, along with one grandchild and three great grandchildren. His parents, his wife and five brothers; Herbert, Myron, Henry, R. V. and Charlie Van Buren preceded him in death. Funeral Services will be at Jones Tabernacle AME Zion Church, at 11:00 AM on Monday, March 1, 2010 with calling from 9:00-11:00 AM. Interment will be in Crown Hill Cemetery.
