Robert F. Wolfla, 84, of Indianapolis passed away Thursday, February 21, 2013. Bob was born on January 13, 1929 in Indianapolis, Indiana to the late Alfred Perry and Hattie Louise Wolfla.
He married Phyllis Gene Engleman on April 16, 1949 in Indianapolis. He graduated from Washington High School in 1947 and entered the United States Army where he served in the Korean War earning a Bronze Star.
He was an avid golfer and family was the joy of his life.
He is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Phyllis; children, Mark (Marsha) Wolfla, Scott (Rhonda) Wolfla, and daughter Terri (Phil) McCauley, 5 grandchildren, Jennifer (Nathan) Slavens, Brittany (James) Sacheck, Ryan McCauley, Robert Mark Wolfla II, and Bradley Wolfla, and his sister LaVonne Rider.
