87, Indianapolis, passed away December 21, 2010 in Zionsville, IN. She was born in New Castle, PA on May 30, 1923, the only daughter of Ivor R. and Alice Carpenter Carlson.
Margaret trained as an RN at the Jameson Memorial Hospital in New Castle, PA and also worked in Sharon, PA and Indianapolis for a total of 47 years experience. She enjoyed reading, walking the mall with friends, seeing her grandchildren and collecting teddy bears.
Margaret is survived by her 2 children, Catherine (Phillip D.) Toth of Lebanon, IN and James C. Alexander of Minneapolis, MN; and grandchildren, Emily and Joseph Toth. She was formerly married to William J. Alexander, who preceded her in death.
