Lois Ann Eldridge 83, Indianapolis, passed on Sunday June 8, 2008. One of the first women to graduate from the Police Academy, Lois served twenty-two years as a Police Officer for the Indianapolis Police Department. She also served her country in the U.S. Air Force during WWII.
Survivors include her children, Vickie Slinkard, Gary Michael Weaver, Dr. Laurie Eldridge-Rohall (Gregory), grandchildren, Amanda Ali (Mir), Eric Slinkard, Gwendolyn Slinkard, Alexander Slinkard (Kristi), great-grandchildren: Amira Ali, Devin Slinkard, Kaylee Slinkard, step-great grandchildren, Mia Romine and Molly Romine.
Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, June 21, 2008, Crown Hill Gothic Chapel, with calling from 9:00-11:00 A.M. Inurnment Crown Hill Cemetery. Memorial gifts: St. Jude's Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105. Arrangements entrusted to Crown Hill Funeral Home.
