Emma Bea Henry 82 of Indianapolis, passed away Mon. Dec. 29, 2014. She was a loving wife, mother, homemaker and a member of Oasis of Hope Baptist Church where she participated in the Sunday School Department, was a Youth Director and a former choir member. She was a member of the Riverside Civic League; Voter Registrar and poll worker. She also was an active member of the PTA and an after school Tutor. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roddie P. Henry and son, Phillip David Henry.
She leaves to cherish her memory, sons; Stanley Henry (Angela) and Ronnie Henry (Juanita); daughters, Sharon Johnson (Rev. Jeffery); Alfredia Parrish and Brenda Henry; six grandchildren, a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral Service will be held Sat. Jan. 3, 2015 at 12:00 p.m. at Oasis of Hope Baptist Church 1701 E. 25th. St. with calling Fri. Jan. 2, 2015 from 4p.m.-8 p.m. and Sat. 10:00 a.m. to service time. Burial in Crown Hill Cemetery.
