She was preceded in death by her husband, James A. Carpenter, Sr; and daughter Yvonne M. Ross-Vance.
She leaves to cherish her memory, son, Felix J. Ross, 3 grandchildren, Shenevelyn R. Ross, Dawn R. Ross, Dominic A. Ross, great grandson, Ellis D. Price, siblings, Ralph C. Yates, Eddie Yates Jr, Larry Yates, Surlester Boykin, Carolyn Yates, host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.
Her visitation will take place Thursday, July 16, 2015, 4pm-8pm at Williams & Bluitt Funeral Home, Peoples Chapel with additional calling Saturday, July 18, 2015, 10am to service time 11am at St. John Missionary Baptist Church, 34 W. Pleasant St., Springfield, OH. Entombment will immediately follow in Rose Hill Burial Park.
