
Mrs. Mary Lou Anna Hutcherson, daughter of Clarence Pryor and Lucille Pryor, was born on November 20, 1929 in Indianapolis, Indiana. She completed her primary and secondary education at IPS # 34 and #37, graduating from Crispus Attucks High School.
After high school, Mary Lou continued her education at the Indianapolis School of Practical Nursing, graduating with honors in 1961.
Mary Lou at an early gave her life to Christ. She was baptized and united with the Martindale Church of Christ. Before her health failed Mary Lou served as an active member of "Women of Praise and Prayer" and a Deaconess Helper.
Mary Lou was united in holy matrimony to the late James Hutcherson. To this union four children were born, Stephen James Hutcherson, Janet Marie Hutcherson Fitts,
Paul Andrew Hutcherson and Judy Ann Hutcherson Pinner.
Mary Lou during her working career served as a nurse for twenty-eight years with the Government of the United States, retiring from the Veterans Administration Hospital on December 12, 1989.
Mary Lou was a loving, caring, devoted mother, sister, aunt and friend. She touched many lives, loving all and endearing herself to many. Her great loves after her family were traveling, shopping and reading novels by Danielle Steele. Later in life she enjoyed watching soap operas and many senior citizen activities at Robin Run.
Mary Lou departed this earthly life for her heavenly journey on January 23, 2009, at the age of seventy-nine years, two months and three days. She will be sadly missed by all those who loved and knew her.
Mary Lou shall forever be cherished in memory by her sons, Stephen (Kathy) and Paul; daughters, Janet and Judy (David); grandchildren, Madonna, Harvey, Devon, Carmen, Marc and Corey; great grandchildren, Dedrian, Deyonna, DeShawn, Precious, Destiny, Eternity; sister, Muriel Bransford,; two brothers, Charles and Chester Pryor, six nieces, Marnita, Gloria, Lynette, Lesley, Michelle and Monica; four nephews, Mark, Charles, Kenneth and Darnell; a host of dear and loving other relatives and friends. Preceding her in death were her parents Clarence and Lucille Pryor and three sisters, Norlene Edwards, Flora Pryor, Dorothy Pryor.
