

A loving mother and homemaker, Franctine was born and raised in Kentucky where she met Clifford, her husband and they later relocated to Indianapolis. Franctine worked as the Cafeteria Assistant at Indianapolis Public Schools #20 and #114 for almost 15 years. She was an excellent cook and enjoyed preparing meals for her family. She was a huge animal lover and always had a pet. She was active in her community and enjoyed reading, singing and praising the Lord! She loved her church family at The Caring Place , formerly Calvary Temple and she loved her only daughter, Pam.
Franctine had an unwavering faith in God. Over the years she had become very involved with the church and was very active with the Senior Ministry, RAFEW at the church until she became too ill to participate. She was the most loving, sweet, considerate, kind person that you could ever meet.
Franctine was preceded in death by her loving husband Clifford Lawrence; her brothers, James E., Kenneth, William , and her sisters Aileen, Bernice and Lucille She was also preceded in death by her Stepson, Stanley Starks. She was the last remaining sibling of her family.. Her daughter Pam lovingly cared for her the last 3 years of her life. Franctine is survived by her daughter, Pamela Lawrence-Hardy (Robert),seven grandchildren, Stepdaughter Deborah Murdic, Special Niece, Varna Jean Waller and a host of other relatives; all whom she loved dearly.
