Mrs. Martha M. Gilbert, 91, Indianapolis, transitioned from labor to reward on July 25, 2016.Sheretired as a Housekeeper from Dow Chemical. Mrs. Gilberthad beena member of St. John A.M.E. Church.Mrs. Gilbert leaves to cherish her memory and celebrate her life, children: Roosevelt Gilbert (Carolyn), J.M. Gilbert (Carolyn), Jim Gilbert, George Gilbert (Rhonda), Brice Gilbert, Letha Gilbert and Ann Gilbert; sister, Genette Nelson; 21 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren and a host of other loving family and friends. The visitation is Saturday, July 30, 2016, 7:00pm - 7:30pm, with the Homegoing Celebration commencing at 7:30pm in Williams & Bluitt Funeral Home, Peoples Chapel.
