Mrs. Evelyn Ella Mason

EVELYN ELLA MASON (White) of Indianapolis passed peacefully Saturday morning, March 5, 2011, surrounded by her husband, children and granddaughter. Evelyn was active in the Roberts Park Methodist Church and participated in Grey's Fellowship, served as a day care provider and was an extended Grandmother for several children within her church family. Evelyn and her husband (George Mason) loved to be around their children (David Mason and Kathy O'Neal), grandchildren (Kari Mason, Sara Mason and Riley O'Neal), sisters (Shirley Sullivan and Betty Seyfferle, dec.) and brothers (Jack White and Jerry White) and their families. Evelyn enjoyed traveling, visiting parks, attending musicals and movies, and was happiest at family holiday celebrations. Evelyn was a compassionate and sensitive woman with a wonderful sense of fun and humor; as she loved to laugh and always enjoyed a good conversation and story. While Evelyn's family, neighbors and friends will greatly mourn her loss, they will also celebrate her life and memory at a memorial service at the Gothic Chapel in Crown Hill Cemetery, 34th street entrance, Wednesday, March 9th, 4pm to 8pm. Evelyn's Funeral Service will be Thursday, March 10th at the Gothic Chapel at 11am. Interment: Crown Hill Cemetery. Contributions may be made to Roberts Park Methodist Church.
