Ruth Okey Gardis Warren Schubert 93 of Indianapolis passed away May 3, 2010. Ruth was born in Indianapolis, IN on December 5, 1916, the daughter of the late Charles Winslow and Grace Etta (Mitchell) Okey. She was a graduate of Manual High School and attended Indiana University. She was a retired Administrative Assistance for Eli Lilly Co. with 27 ½ years of service. She was a member of Edwin Ray Methodist Church. Mrs. Schubert had many friends and a reputation for doing good for others. She will be missed by family and friends. Ruth is survived by a daughter, Melanie L. Vincz, a granddaughter Erika M. Grayson, a grandson Jace J. Grayson and a nephew Barry R. Kuner. She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister Alma Kuner. Funeral Services will be 1:00 PM Saturday May 8, 2010 in the Peace Chapel of the Community Mausoleum of Crown hill Cemetery, where friends may call from 11:00 AM until service time.
