Mrs. Ruth Ann Webb

85, passed away on January 22, 2017, in Indianapolis  Ruth was born in Jennings County Indiana on the family farm on October 13, 1931. She graduated from North Vernon High School and went on to earn her Bachelors and MBA from Indiana University.

Ruth Ann met Carolos Webb her future husband while taking tickets at a Milroy Basketball game, after the urging from Carlos sister to meet the new teacher at the school.

Ruth taught school at Milroy High School and later in the IPS system teaching at Shortridge High School in the business dept. Broad Ripple, Crispus Attucks and part-time at Arsenal Tech.

Ruth was promoted to IPS Supervisor of Business Education, where she developed the business education for the district. She was a president, co-editor, and contributor for the Indiana Business Education Association and a member of the National Business Education Association, member of the Theta chapter of Delta PI Epsilon, Indiana and American Vocational Associations and Beta chapter Delta Kappa Gamma.

Ruth was very involved at her church East 91st Christian Church where she taught and coordinated the children's Sunday school division and was the chairperson of the Deaconess, along with being a member of the building planning committee.

Her love of travel with Carlos took her to over 24 countries around the World.

She leaves behind her loving husband Carlos Webb, several cousins and church family.
