

died March 5 in her Indianapolis home. Cristy was born February 2, 1927. She was a graduate of Tudor Hall School in 1944 and Bryn Mawr College in 1950. In the early 1950's she worked for J. Walter Thompson Advertising Agency as a Production Assistant on the Kraft and Pond's TV Theater. She was the first woman to hold that position in New York City. She and the late Meredith Nicholson were married in 1955. Their only child Elizabeth Ann Nicholson died in 2011. There were two children from her marriage to John Yoe: Sara Elizabeth and James Philip.
Cristy's parents, Amelia Sanborn Crist and Mitchell Phillip Crist predeceased Cristy in death. After living in three cities, The Nicholson family settled here. Cristy was active in the Junior League and The Dramatic Club, but her greatest energy and time were devoted to Trinity Episcopal Church and St. Richards School. She could be seen walking its halls talking to students and teachers. She was also on the Altar Guild and administered communion during the daily Eucharist. Other survivors include two first cousins, Charles S. LaFollette, San Francisco and Gerry C. LaFollette, Indianapolis.
