98 years old passed away peacefully at Hoosier Village, Monday January 25, 2015.
He is survived by a daughter Priscilla Johns of New Jersey, Grandsons Anthony Jackson, and Darnell Johns, 3 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. His cousin Betty Davis of Indianapolis and special friends Emma Sanders, Pearl White and Nanette and Merrill Ritter survive him.
Samuel was a retired member of the US Army and survived honorably in WWII from the D-day beaches of Normandy to Germany. He then enlisted in the US Air Force and served our country in many foreign lands. He retired in 1963 and was employed at Naval Avionics until his retirement there in 1978.
Samuel had a caring concern for others and was a true steadfast friend
