Naomi C. Moore

Naomi C. Phipps, the oldest of five children, was born on August 9, 1922, in New Market, Tennessee. She was the daughter of the late Willie Mae (Houston) Phipps and the late Harry C. Phipps.

She was a devout follower of Christ and a member of New Life Worship Center, her church home for the last 13 years, where she was baptized at the age of 81.

Naomi worked as a Nurse’s Aide at Methodist Hospital for 17 years. In her spare time, Naomi enjoyed music, sewing, crocheting, reading, writing, and loved being surrounded by her family..

Naomi was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald E. Moore Sr. of 57 years; son, Leroy B. Phipps, and her sister Eula Mae Phipps.

She is survived by sisters, Thelma Brown, Betty Ledford; brother Harry Phipps; daughter, Maria L. Moore; sons, Ronald E. (Tina) Moore Jr.; Conrad M. Sr. (Mary) Moore, Myron V. Moore, Marcus A. Moore and daughter â€" in â€" law Jenny Phipps; 12 grandchildren, Laura, Ronnie, Freddie, Autumn, Renita, Conrad Jr., Sherron, Ronald, Christopher, Anthony, Rasheda, Michael (deceased).; and13 great- grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
