Norman Lee Haus

He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Haus and his 6 children, daughter Cindy and Randy Merritt, son Ronald and Sylvia Haus, daughter, Carol and Gary Moore, son Bob Haus, stepson Rex and Carla Orr, and stepson Kurt Orr; Norm is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Norm served in the United States Air Force from 1949-1951. From there he would go on to have a 24 year career as a police officer for the town of Clermont ending in him being Chief of Police. Throughout his life Norm was always a giver as shown in him being a volunteer fire fighter to his retirement as a special needs school bus driver. All Norm knew how to do was give, and good luck finding a person who could tell you different. Please say a prayer for his peaceful passing to the lord above where he will be resting, waiting to see us all again.

Visitation will be held Sunday, December 13, 2020 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Family Funeral Care, 5791 Rockville Road, Indianapolis. A private funeral service will be held on Monday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Westridge Park Cemetery with military rites.

The government mandated requirement for social distancing and a capacity of 25 persons in the building will be enforced. Mask are required to enter the building.
