Norman Lee Street, age 85, passed away peacefully on April 22, 2025, after a long battle with Alzheimer’s disease. His beloved wife, Susan, was by his side as he took his final breath, just as she had been throughout their life together.
Born on July 27, 1939, in Loogootee, Indiana, Norm proudly served in the United States Navy, where he developed the discipline, resilience, and quiet strength that defined his life. After his service, he built a successful career as a State Farm Insurance Agent, serving his community for over 50 years with integrity and dedication.
He is survived by his wife, Susan Hartzell Street; his children, Micki (Tobin) Genung and Lori Street; his stepchildren, Suzanna (Zach) Hartzell-Ballard and Will (Una) Hartzell-Baird; and seven grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and his siblings Eldena, Bill and Anna Belle.
