Mr. Orville Robert Thompson, Sr., 69 Indianapolis, died on Monday, July 19, 2010. He had been employed for 30 years as a Core Maker for The Chrysler Foundry, retiring in 1992 and was a member of Christ Temple Apostolic Faith Assembly. He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Barbara Thompson, sons; Occellius (Freddie) Thompson (Vickie), Orville (Redd) Thompson (Ronda), Anthony Corbin, David Corbin (Hilda) and Kevin Thompson (Melanie), daughters; Ronda Pruitt, Kimberly Thompson and Stacy Thompson, brothers; Haskell Thompson, Jr., Frederick Thompson, Sr., and Bruce Thompson, sisters; Lillian Thompson and Jacquelyn Coleman (Robert), 21 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 24, 2010 at 11:00 am at Christ Temple Apostolic Faith Assembly, 430 W. Fall Creek Parkway. There will be a visitation at Williams & Bluitt Funeral Home-Peoples Chapel on Friday, July 23rd from 5-9 pm and also from 10 am until 11 am at the church.
