Pamela Hilliard

Miss Pamela Elaine Hilliard was born on March 4, 1955 to the late Lozie Julius Hilliard, Sr. and Luevenia Shanklin Hilliard in Indianapolis, Indiana. She was the second child of three children born to this union.

She professed a hope in Christ at an early age and was baptized at Pilgrim Baptist Church. Pam received her education in the Indianapolis Public School System at George W. Sloan School #41 and Northwest High School, graduating in 1974. She attended IUPUI and the John Herron School of Art. She was employed by the United States Postal Service for over thirty years, retiring this year due to her failing health.

Pam enjoyed her life and lived it to the fullest. She loved spending time with her family. "TT" loved spoiling her nieces and nephews AND SHE SPOILED THEM ROTTEN!! They were the greatest love of her life.

Pam enjoyed playing cards such as Bid Wiz, Tonk, Coon-Can, and many types of board games as well. She also loved to entertain and party down with family and friends. Pam sponsored bus and limousine trips to casinos, restaurants, museums, plays, concerts, and numerous types of festivals. She loved to dance and listen to jazz, blues, soul music, and old school. Pam never let any dust settle on her shoes, for she was always on the go.

Pam was an enthusiastic devoted fan of all types of sports and cars. She was a member of the Indy Sting Corvette Club as well as an avid fan of the Los Angeles Lakers and Chicago Bears.

Pamela E. Hilliard departed this earthly life on Sunday, December 16, 2018. She was 62 years young. She was preceded in death by her father, Lozie Julius Hilliard, Sr.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her mother, Luevenia Shanklin Hilliard, sister, Danita Kay Hilliard, brother, Lozie Julius Hilliard, Jr., niece, Amber Devona Hilliard-Cole {Pooh}, nephew, Dorian Julius Hilliard (Yogi}, Great-nephew, Kingston Cole (Pedro), Great-niece, Kali Boatman (Pebbles), two aunts, Pastor Joann Watson-Hilliard, Lacy (Marvin) Bell of Todd County, Kentucky, and a hosts of cousins and friends.
