Pastor Charles E. Woodson

Pastor Charles E. Woodson, 87 went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, August 14, 2010. He was the Pastor and Founder of First Inspirational Missionary Baptist Church. He attended the Central Baptist Theological Seminary in Indianapolis under the teaching of Dr. F. Benjamin Davis. He was retired from Chrysler and the Warren Township Schools. He is survived by his loving wife, Flora E. Woodson, sons; Carney Woodson, and Phillip Sebree, daughters; Rev. Veronica Simmons(Willie), Charleszetta Lewis (Leo) and Nadine Newsom, mother of his children; Ruby Curry, 14 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, 1 great,great-granchild, 1 neice, 3 nephews, sister-in-law and a host of other relatives, church family and friends. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 21, 2010 at 12 noon with visitation beginning at 10 am at True Vine Missionary Baptist Church, 4050 Millersville Road.
