Patricia "Sue" Bell

Sue was born on June 20, 1942, to the late Perry and Florence Fraser.

Sue spent her childhood in Worthington, Indiana, before her family moved to Speedway, where she graduated from high school. It was there that she met the love of her life, Ronald Bell. They were united in marriage on March 25, 1961, and shared 65 years of love and devotion together.

Sue dedicated many years to the Indiana Department of Mental Health before retiring. She took pride in her career and the opportunity to work at the historic Zipper Building in downtown Indianapolis.

Nothing brought Sue greater joy than spending time with those she loved, especially her family. She cherished watching her children build lives of their own and playing games with her grandchildren throughout their childhoods, creating memories they will always treasure. She found peace and happiness in nature, especially while sitting outside her home, quietly taking in the beauty of the trees, flowers, and changing seasons.

She had a lifelong affection for cats, sharing her home with many beloved feline companions over the years. Her artistic spirit was evident in the creativity she brought to everyday life.

Sue is survived by her husband, Ronald Bell; daughter, Kristina Bell Green of Westfield; son, Travis (Haley) Bell of Indianapolis; grandchildren, Katelynn Bell, Shemar Green, and Hugh Bell; brother-in-law, Gary (Rhonda) Bell; sister-in-law, Gail (Jay) Myers; and many nieces and nephews, including Perry Fiscus, Dana Fiscus, Eddie Jones, Patrick Fraser, Kimberly Shutt, Melissa Huhn, Miranda Miller, Brad Myers, Greg Myers, and Stacy Simmons.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Kay Fraser Jones; and her brothers, Perry Fraser, John Edwin Fraser, and Kerry Fraser.

Sue was remembered during a private family viewing. In accordance with her wishes, her ashes will be united with her husband's upon his passing.

Ron and the family deeply appreciate the outpouring of love, support, and kindness shown during this difficult time. Your thoughts, prayers, and condolences have meant more than words can express.

Sue will be remembered for her gentle heart, quiet strength, artistic spirit, and the deep love she had for her family. Her memory will be treasured always by those who were blessed to know and love her.
