Patricia Ann (Johnson) Gentry, age 84, of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away on Tuesday, June 25, 2019. Patricia was born on October 13, 1934 in Beech Grove, Indiana to the late Charles and Grace Johnson. Patricia married Virgil Wayne Gentry and they celebrated 66 years together.
Patricia worked as a seamstress for many years. She enjoyed crafts, fishing, camping and helping people. She will be greatly missed.
Patricia is survived by her children, Melody Alfrey, Randy (Ruth) Gentry, Charlie (Pat) Gentry and Rayjean Anderson; grandchildren, Andy, Adam, Rebecca, Nathan and Chris; brother, Richard Johnson; and 16 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Virgil Wayne Gentry; parents, Charles and Grace Johnson; and granddaughter, Brandy Gibson.
A visitation will be held Friday, July 5, 2019 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Family Funeral Care-Rockville West, 5791 Rockville Road, Indianapolis, Indiana 46224. A memorial service will immediately follow at 5:00 PM also at the funeral home.
