Mooresville – Patricia (Chilcote) Lucas, 55, passed away Saturday, November 14, 2015. Patricia was born on December 31, 1959 in Indianapolis the daughter of Edwin W. and Sharon (Smuts) Chilcote, and was a 1978 graduate of John Marshall High School. She later earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University in 1994. Mrs. Lucas worked as a Mechanical Engineer for Wayne Metals in Fort Wayne for several years. She was a member of the Woman’s Society of Engineers, Historical Society, and Project Linus. Survivors include her husband, David Lucas; her mother; a sister, Cynthia Chilcote; a brother, Thomas (wife-Lisa) Chilcote; and two nephews, Josh and Matt Chilcote. She was preceded in death by her father; and a brother, David Chilcote.
